New Homes in Apache Junction: Blossom Rock and Radiance at Superstition Vistas

The first wave of homebuilders in Apache Junction has been selected for Blossom Rock, a brand-new 1,400-acre master-planned community in Apache Junction, Arizona. This highly anticipated neighborhood will feature new construction homes, parks, retail, and a charter school, making it one of the largest new developments in the East Valley.

Lennar, Pulte, Brookfield, and More at Blossom Rock

National homebuilders are already securing land at Blossom Rock in Apache Junction.

Lennar Homes purchased 155 lots for $10.13 million.

Brookfield Residential will build 373 new homes, including 203 single-family detached houses and 170 townhomes.

Pulte Homes secured 140 lots under a rolling option agreement. Pulte plans to price homes starting in the high $400,000s for 50-foot-wide lots and up to the high $600,000s for 60-foot-wide lots.

David Weekley Homes and Tri Pointe Homes will offer the largest lots, 70 feet wide, with a mix of existing and brand-new floor plans.

Blossom Rock Community Features

Phase I of Blossom Rock will cover 200 acres and is expected to open in spring 2024. The Apache Junction new community will include:

Five neighborhood parks

15 acres for 300 multifamily units

Nine acres of retail space

A 5.4-acre site for a future Great Hearts charter school

A 2.5-acre site for a fire station

A 16-acre regional park with a lake, ramadas, and dog parks

30 additional pocket parks spread throughout the master plan

Blossom Rock is located near the northeast corner of Ironwood and Ray Roads, with Blossom Rock Trail serving as the main entry.

Competition and Nearby Developments

The launch of Blossom Rock comes as Eastmark, a nearby 6,800-home community, nears completion. Every lot at Eastmark has been sold, leaving Blossom Rock as one of the few new opportunities for homes for sale in Apache Junction.

Next door, D.R. Horton is opening its own 1,400-acre master-planned community, Radiance at Superstition Vistas, which will eventually include 5,000 homes. Like Blossom Rock, Radiance will feature family-friendly amenities and community parks.

Sustainable Building in Apache Junction

Both Brookfield Residential and D.R. Horton are working together on a reclaimed water irrigation system to support parks and landscaping while conserving potable water — a major priority for new home construction in Arizona.
